Amanda Haworth, APRN, CNM
I am an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Certified Nurse-Midwife, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am passionately devoted to caring for patients while improving their health and helping ensure their rights are protected. I provide health care and education to patients of various ages. I focus on promoting shared decision-making and educating patients so patients can make informed decisions regarding their care.
I received my undergraduate degree in nursing from Pratt Community College and the University of Phoenix. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus in Healthcare/Nursing education from the University of Phoenix. Then completed my MSN in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. I went on to complete a post-graduate certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board, American Nurses Credentialing Center, and licensed by the Kansas State Board of Nursing and Colorado Board of Nursing.
I am trained in functional and integrative psychiatry by Psychiatry Redefined. Determining the underlying cause of your mental health problems instead of just treating the symptoms is the goal. A combination of assessments, personal and family history, and lab tests to are used to help determine the cause of your condition. An individualized treatment plan that incorporates diet, exercise, supplements, integrative therapies, education, and traditional medications is developed to help treat your condition.
I am certified by the Yoga Institute as a Prenatal Yoga instructor and certified to teach Prenatal and Baby and Me yoga.
